Hi All:
Anyone tried this out yet? I'm wondering what your feelings and opinions are on how it works and what problems you've encountered if any so far?
Lou
Never heard of it. What is it? By the title it at least potentially interesting.
I actually did try it, and used it for about an hour! For a piece of software that doesn't bill itself as a screen reader, it's really good, responsive, and stable! Don't expect it to work with everything, but it definitely is a breakthrough!
System Access To Go is a program that will read aloud what's on the computer screen. Its in free public beata now. Go to www.satogo.com, and follow the prompts. You'll need to shut down any screenreader. The beauty of it is that when you finish your session, it doesn't leave a trace on the computer, and can be used with any computer with a soundcard, speakers/headphones, and an Internet connection.
Even better, it doesn't require an internet connection after it actually starts. You need the net to log in, but after that, no net connection is needed. It sounds really cool.
Wow, I am going to have to try this. I do use System access from the u3 drive and it's excellent. has gotten me through many instalations on client's machines. This is a company to watch.
I tried System Access to Go and had trouble with the sign-up procedure. After filling out the name, address, email and phone number fields, I hit the 'signup' button, and was taken back to the sign up page. I tried various formats for the phone number; no luck. Might some IE browser setting be an issue? Oh, on my first attempt to run Access to Go, I had to re-activate my screen reader in order to allow my browser to download from that site.
I had some trouble signing up, too. I can't use it at home, because Macaffe gets in the way. Probably if I'd use someone's eyeballs, I'd have more success. I have trouble working around Macaffe with JAWS, though.

Hmmmm; hadn't thought my anti-virus was an issue; I use AVG Free. Maybe my Spybot Search & Destroy is the issue? Will do some more checking; thanks.
i find it very useful, for working from different sites. i run AVG, and had no problems.
Thank you; didn't think AVG was the issue, but, thought I'd mention it, since MacAffee was suggested as being a problem. Maybe I'll try putting "sa2go.*" in "trusted sites"?
I've just had a shot at the demo of system access to go and lik it. my firewall didn't though, but this can be fixed under exceptions if I ever get the programme for ral. I've been toying with the idea of getting system access via a pen drive for some years.
enver tryed this.
Hey, about sa for the thumb drive, where do u get it? tx
